Translational Compensation Algorithm for Ballistic Targets in Midcourse Based on Template Matching

The high-speed movement of a ballistic target will cause folding and translation the micro-Doppler, which affect extraction micro-motion features. To address adverse effects targets in midcourse on features, novel translational compensation algorithm based template matching is proposed. Firstly, 512 × time-frequency map obtained by binarization down-sampling. then convolves to obtain contour-like points. Then, upper lower contour points are preliminarily determined extreme value, all actual screened out through structural similarity. Lastly, trend lines parameters for polynomial fitting estimated. Simulation results show that proposed has requirements resolution, higher precision time complexity as whole. Furthermore, it also applicable spectral aliasing.
